Wildcats to Host 'The Ford House Military Appreciation Night'

WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Wichita Falls Wildcats, in partnership with The Ford House – Wichita Falls Ford Lincoln, are pleased to announce the return of The Ford House Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Kay Yeager Coliseum.

Any person with valid military identification, including active and retired personnel and family members, will receive free admission to that night’s game when the Wildcats host the Amarillo Bulls. Fans will be able to retrieve their tickets by visiting the KYC box office beginning Monday, Nov. 3.

“We are excited for the return of The Ford House Military Appreciation Night,” Wildcats Team President and General Manager Paul Baxter said. “There is a deep bond between our community and the military that extends beyond having Sheppard Air Force Base here in Wichita Falls, or Fort Sill in Lawton [Okla.]. We know how much these brave men and women, and their families, have sacrificed in the service of this great nation, and we look forward to the opportunity to show our appreciation for all they have done and continue to do.

As in past years, the Wildcats will mark the occasion by wearing custom, limited-edition, military-themed jerseys. The jerseys will be worn both Friday and Saturday night, and will be raffled off following the completion of Saturday’s contest. The jersey raffle will be open to all fans, with uniformed military personnel who attend Saturday’s game receiving five (5) complimentary raffle tickets. Fans who will not be able to attend Saturday's tilt will still be able to take part in the jersey raffle by contacting the Wildcats Hockey offices beginning Monday, Nov. 3.

Tickets will be available at the KYC box office beginning Monday, Nov. 3. Fans wishing to make group reservations of 15 or more may do so at any time by contacting the Wildcats Hockey offices at (940) 716-5587.
