WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Wichita Falls Wildcats, members of the North American Hockey League’s South Division, are pleased to announce the dates and locations of this year’s Pre-Draft Tryout Camps.
“We look forward to our Pre-Draft Camps every year, and this year is certainly no different,” said Wildcats Head Coach Paul Baxter. “Our camps have become an integral part of our recruiting efforts, and we are excited for two very competitive camps with a lot of talented players.”
The first camp will take place at the Jersey Shore Arena in Wall Township, NJ, and is scheduled to run from May 16 to May 18. The second of the team’s two camps will be held from May 30 to June 1 at the Edge Ice Arena in Littleton, Colo. Full schedules for both camps may be found by visiting www.wfwildcatshockey.com and selecting the “Become a Wildcat” tab, or by clicking the link above.
The Wildcats Pre-Draft Camps are an opportunity for young players to showcase their abilities in front of the Wildcats coaching staff, as well as college scouts representing Division I programs. Each player is guaranteed the opportunity to play three games during the camp, with the possibility of playing in an All-Star game at the end of the session. Goalies will also take part in a goaltender-specific evaluation session.
