The Wichita Falls Wildcats are primed for a successful 10th anniversary season, with 13 players returning from last year’s squad to lead the way in 2013-14. Included in that number is Daniel Vaysberg, one of five defensemen back for a second year with the Wildcats.
Vaysberg appeared in 13 games during his first campaign in Wichita Falls, compiling six assists and a plus-2 rating. The defenseman had no trouble adjusting to life in the North American Hockey League, as he posted points in each of his first two contests.
Prior to joining Wichita Falls, Vaysberg spent the previous two seasons with the New Jersey Rockets of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League.
The New Jersey-native plans on attending medical school after his playing days are over, and lists Ghandi as the historical figure he would most like to meet.
