Player Profile: Max Reisinger

As preparations for the 2014-15 season ramp up, forward Max Reisinger will be looking to turn in a strong showing in his sophomore season in Wichita Falls.

One of eight returning players in training camp, Reisinger played in 48 games for the Wildcats in 2013-14, recording eight goals and six assists for 14 points.

The Austrian-born winger wasted no time adjusting to life in the North American Hockey League as a rookie, finding the back of the net in his first game to help Wichita Falls claim a 4-0 victory over the Odessa Jackalopes. Reisinger then carried that solid start into October, notching eight points (five goals, three assists) in his first nine contests.

Prior to joining the Wildcats last season, Reisinger skated for the Cleveland Barons midget major squad, posting a 26-23-49 line in 44 games played at the Tier 1 Elite level.

The Wildcats will drop the puck on the 2014-15 campaign when they host the Odessa Jackalopes on Sept. 13 at the Kay Yeager Coliseum. All tickets for that contest are free, and can be obtained by visiting the Wildcats offices.
